LALOLA Restaurante
Valencian · Paella · Tapas
If there is one place that captures why Valencia is special for coeliacs, it is LALOLA. They have worked with gluten-free ingredients for over 15 years — one of the first restaurants in the city to commit to it — in close collaboration with ACECOVA, the Valencian coeliac association.
What makes them a cornerstone of our tour:
- An entire 100% gluten-free menu, so nothing is off-limits.
- Separate equipment and tools that never touch gluten-containing ingredients.
- Front-of-house and kitchen staff who are properly trained, so you can relax and just enjoy.
This is where we sit down for the main event — a plate of paella valenciana and a few tapas like their patatas bravas — the kind of meal most coeliacs assume they can’t have on holiday in Spain. Here, you can.
